6 East Coast
The East coast has got many lovely beaches & coves plus a wealth of palaces and historical sites to visit.

We spent the first night in KyongJu where next day we visited the tombs (grassy mounds scattered around the city) and Gyeongyu Temple on the other side of the city.

The night was spent further north at Samcheok. The following morning we visited the massive Hwanseongul caves. It was a 50 minute walk up a steep incline to reach them.

From there we journeyed further north visiting a couple of beaches along the way before heading back to Seoul for 3 more days of shopping and sightseeing.
